As we move closer to realizing this vision, we invite you to imagine a space where Olowe’s intricate wood carvings will be displayed, offering an immersive experience that celebrates Yoruba culture and African art.
Future Exhibitions
This exhibition will showcase some of the most iconic works of Olowe of Ise, including his renowned verandah posts, palace doors, and sacred objects once commissioned by Yoruba royalty. Visitors will have the chance to explore dynamic forms, narrative scenes, and detailed carvings that have made Olowe a celebrated figure in African art history.
